Probation Revocations

A motion to revoke you or your loved one's probation is a serious attempt by the adult probation office to take the probationer's freedom and have him or her sent away to prison/ or jail. The reasons for revocation can vary as widely as probation officer's temperaments, but can be for any technical violation of any of the numerous conditions of probation. I have seen MTR's (Motions to Revoke Probation) filed for failing to report, failing to perform community service and, unfortunately, even from false-positive urine analysis.
IF YOU SUSPECT A MOTION TO REVOKE MAY BE FILED, CONTACT AN ATTORNEY. Once the revocation proceedings begin, a warrant is issued which will be quickly executed and your bond will be double what you paid for bond on the original charge, generally. If you hire an attorney before you are arrested, you can often have bond set and made in a single morning without having to leave the courthouse avoiding missing or being arrested at work.
If you or a loved one is having their probation revoked, contact attorney Carlo Key for a free consultation immediately. Remember that failing to report is an independent reason to have your probation revoked, so failing to report should be avoided at all costs. Often there may be a defense to the original reason for revocation, but none to the subsequent failure to report for fear of arrest.
